Danny Boy's Famous Original Pizza

Pleasant vibes, a clean and inviting atmosphere. Music is good! Cheese slice is phenomenal. Big, Hot, crunchy at the bottom. Equal parts cheese and sauce. Thin enough to fold if you’re into that.

We are bicoastal between Southern California and NYC and while in Cali we’ve been craving a good NYC pizza. This place was at a new and fancy food court in downtown LA so wasn’t sure how good it was going to be but this place is a true NYC pizza!!! Wow we were blown away! Amazing job Danny Boy’s! Definitely recommend! We ate there but we ended up taking home a whole Sicilian pie to go too. It was that good! All the slices we got were so good. And it folded like how an NY pizza should!

Located in the Wells Fargo building “Halo”, Danny Boys is an absolute must! Food is amazing and the seating area is super pleasant. Perfect for a working lunch. They have parking in the garage and validate as well! I’ve only ever had Danny boys on DoorDash, but super glad to finally enjoy it immediately. Staff is super sweet and friendly Will be back!

I love a good, thin slice of pizza. I've been looking for good places that do that New York style pizza in Downtown LA for a while now, and I think I finally found my winner. I used to think Joe's was the best in the area, but Danny Boy's Famous Original just officially took the top spot for me. Since I was staying in, I ordered the Margherita pizza for delivery through Grubhub. Even though I didn't visit the physical location this time, the food arrived in great shape. You can tell a lot about a place by their Margherita because there's nowhere to hide, and, for me, they absolutely nailed it. I wish I took some photos of the pie they sent me. The crust was cooked to perfection. It had that ideal balance of being sturdy enough to hold up the toppings but still having that great chew. The sauce had a really deep, bright flavor that didn't taste artificial or overly sweet. The cheese was high quality, and the fresh basil tied everything together perfectly. The size of the pizza was spot on; it's the perfect amount for 2 or 3 people to share comfortably without feeling like you over-ordered or walked away hungry. Plus, the price felt very fair considering the size and quality of the pizza. If you're anywhere near DTLA and craving good pizza, you have to give this place a shot. It's officially my new go-to. I'll definitely be ordering again and recommending it to friends and family.

I struggled for so long to find good solid pizza in LA, and Danny Boys ended my search. The pizza is hot, fresh, delicious, and fulfills my pizza cravings every time. If you only have time to try one pizza, make it the Sicilian Pepperoni, it's my go to pie!

I stopped by Danny Boy’s Famous Original Pizza and grabbed a Pepe and a cheese slice, and both hit the spot. The cheese slice was classic—perfectly crispy crust, just the right amount of sauce, and a nice, gooey layer of cheese that stretched just right when you took a bite. Simple, but done really well. The Pepe was something special. The toppings were fresh, and the flavors balanced perfectly. The crust had that great New York-style crunch with a little chew, making every bite super satisfying. You can tell they know what they’re doing when it comes to making a solid slice. The place has a cool, laid-back vibe, and the staff were friendly and quick with the service. It’s the kind of spot where you can grab a great slice without any fuss. Definitely glad I stopped by and will be back to try more.

Fantastic Pepperoni pizza. Thin, crispy light dough, excellent pepperoni. This pizza was really great! Went here on on Sunday while exploring LA with my son. We were able to park and easily get a pizza with little wait time. Plenty of seating because it wasn't a business day.

First time here, luckily was with someone who had been here many times. Inside the Wells Fargo building, can be tricky if you’re unfamiliar with the area. Such an amazing atmosphere when you first walk in, also you can smell the pizza right away. So much seating available, and extremely clean. Small menu but so much to offer! The friendliest helpful guys there. Was not disappointed by their suggestions. Huge slices, couldn’t even finish 2, fair prices for the amount of food. Full of flavor. Very fresh and authentic. Was recommended by multiple people, absolutely loved it, will return and also recommend,
